Little league opening day at Oakley park!
The morning was full of excitement from all the kids ready to start the season and the honoring of Dan Waters, who had been extremely involved in helping with little league for many years that was retiring.
Unfortunately for me, it had rained the night before and there were big puddles all over the fields. We did our best beforehand to work up the fields but I eventually had to go on a mission for turface so we could adsorb the water as much as possible.
I got back, we laid out the turface. After that, I joined Hannah who was taking pictures of everything and then the games began!
LESSON LEARNED: Do NOT drop a 25 pound bag of turface....especially not into your car....
